imita.
A collection I developed over the course of a year, entirely self-produced—from concept and design to fabric sourcing, manipulation, pattern cutting, sewing, styling, and final execution. Rooted in the search for a hybrid “third space,” the project explores imitation as both method and meaning, merging analog craft with digital processes to unite function, aesthetics, and deception in a new design language.
With gratitude to Flavio Leone, Alexia Thomas, and every person below who gave imita. its voice, rhythm, and presence.
Imitation, Mimicry, Täuschung und deren EntTäuschung
Imitations surround me,
representation of a representation,
the desire to feel like I belong somewhere.
